Multi-Beam Feed

The American Antenna multibeam feed system is a light weight but strong feed platform able to support C and KU band feed systems and provide 8 degrees of arc span. Made of aluminum alloy and stainless steel, there are no steel parts to rust. The open concept allows for minimum RF blocking, and for wind to pass through, minimizing kiting and pulling the antenna off station. The IF cabling is protected by an adjustable ice bridge. No need for a large plastic feed cover. Coupled with our 5.0M Liberty series earth station antenna, our multibeam system can provide 5 satellites at C and/or KU bands with minimal losses off boresight.

LOSSES FROM BORESIGHT:
0dB loss on boresight
.74dB loss @ 2 degrees off boresight
1.9dB loss @ 4 degrees off boresight

FEED RING OPEN DESIGN:
Minimal microwave blockage
Laser cut LNB brackets for maximum strength
Full adjustment of feed for focal point, distance, and skew
Minimum wind loading of feed
No animal habitat creation. (Wasps, birds, etc.)

MATERIALS:
Manufactured of 100% heavy gauge aluminum alloy
No corrosion, peeling, or rust
All hardware is stainless steel

RADIAL TILT-OUT FEATURE:
Allows for radial tilting of feed horns to maximize gain

ICE BRIDGE:
Fully adjustable ice bridge protects LNB’s and cabling from tower ice and other falling objects

FEED SUPPORTS:
Heavy gauge 1” X 2” extruded aluminum alloy
Can be used for IFL conduit.
